Miley Cyrus reveals credits for new album ‘Bangerz’

Miley Cyrus has revealed the songwriting credits for her upcoming album.

The pop starlet will release “Bangerz” in the United States on October 8 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

New single “Wrecking Ball” – written by Stephan Moccio, Maureen “Mozella” McDonald, Sacha Skarbek, Lukasz “Dr. Luke” Gottwald and Henry “Cirkut” Walter – is now available for download via iTunes and all other digital outlets.

Other songwriters on “Bangerz” include Sean Garrett (Brandy, Nicki Minaj), Jean Baptiste Kouame (Madonna, Cheryl Cole), Samuel “Sam Hook” Jean (Ne-Yo, Chris Brown), Stacy Barthe (Rihanna, John Legend) and Planet VI: Theron & Timothy Thomas (RaVaughn Brown, Keri Hilson).

RaVaughn has premiered the music video for her new single online.

“Best Friend” marks the second promotional release from the artist’s upcoming debut album, “Love Always,” out soon via Sony Music Entertainment / Compound University / Compound Entertainment / Columbia Records.

The track – which serves as the follow-up to previous single “Better Be Good” – was written by RaVaughn Brown along with Leon Thomas III, Khristopher Riddick-Tynes, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and Antonio “Tony” Dixon.

“Love Always” promises further songwriting contributions from John Legend (Fergie, Chrisette Michele), Marsha Ambrosius (LeToya Luckett, Alicia Keys), Andrea Martin (Leona Lewis, Jordin Sparks), Tiyon “TC” Mack (Justin Bieber, Tamar Braxton) and Miguel Pimentel (Beyoncé Knowles, Mariah Carey).

JLS have debuted their new single online.

“Billion Lights” marks the lead promotional single from the British group’s upcoming compilation, “Goodbye – The Greatest Hits,” out on November 18 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

The track – available for download from November 11 via iTunes and other online outlets – was co-written by Camille Purcell (The Saturdays, Little Mix) and Alistair Tennnant (Pixie Lott, Tulisa Contostavlos).

“Goodbye – The Greatest Hits” will feature previous singles “Beat Again,” “Everybody in Love,” “She Makes Me Wanna” and “Hottest Girl in the World.”

Singer/songwriter Keyshia Cole has recently recorded new material with Epic hip hop artist Future.

It is yet to be known whether the outcome will appear on Future’s upcoming studio album “Honest” or Cole’s still-untitled sixth studio album.

As a songwriter, Future – born Nayvadius Wilburn – has helmed tracks including “Love Song” by Rihanna [Island Def Jam Recordings] as well as “Body Party” and “Where You Go” by Ciara [Epic Records].

He also confirmed placements on the next albums by Miley Cyrus [RCA Records], Shakira [Epic Records], Usher [RCA Records], Jennifer Lopez [Capitol Records] and Monica [RCA Records].

Meanwhile, the new collection by Cole – which serves as the follow-up to 2012’s “Woman to Woman” – is expected to yield alliances from Mike WiLL Made It (Brandy, Kelly Rowland), Sean “Elijah Blake” Fenton (Marsha Ambrosius, Jordin Sparks) and Kevin McCall (Chris Brown, Sevyn Streeter).

Alicia Keys has debuted the lyrics to a new song online.

“Better You, Better Me” was written by Keys along with British songstress Marsha Ambrosius (LeToya Luckett, Jamie Foxx) and Australian hitmaker Steve “Ace” Mostyn (Elle Varner, Mayher Hawthorne).

The singer/songwriter released her last studio album “Girl on Fire” in 2012 via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records. That project debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart.

It also delivered hit singles including “New Day,” “Girl on Fire,” “Fire We Make (featuring Maxwell),” “Brand New Me” and “Tears Always Win.”
