Carmen Reece has teased a new collaboration with Craig David.

“Back in with this special soul.. 🎤💜✒️ My friend the one and only – Mr. @craigdavid ✨💜✨,” the British singer/songwriter posted to her Instagram profile on Sunday (December 31, 2017).

Born Helen Culver, Reece previously teamed up with David on his current promotional single “I Know You,” featuring Bastille. The Fraser T. Smith-produced track peaked to number twenty-five on the UK Singles Chart.

Reece’s songwriting resume boasts additional works with K. Michelle (“Woman of My Word”), Tamar Braxton (“Blind”), Ariana Grande (“Right There”), Jasmine V (“That’s Me Right There”), Samantha Jade (“Shake That”), Teyana Taylor (“Put Your Love On”), Jessica Mauboy (“Can I Get a Moment?”), Sabina Ddumba (“Not Too Young”) and Michelle Williams (“Say Yes”).

Meanwhile, David is scheduled to release his upcoming seventh album “The Time is Now” – featuring the Sam Romans-penned / Jonas Blue-produced “Heartline” – on January 26 via Sony Music / Insanity Records.

The highly-anticipated project yields additional contributions from Tre Jean-Marie (Christina Aguilera, Ella Mai), Rachel Furner (Frances, Little Mix), Steve Mac (Pink, Ed Sheeran), Diztortion (Rihanna, Sasha Keable), Kaytranada (Cassie, Mary J. Blige) and Talay Riley (Kelela, Nick Jonas).

Mali-Koa enlists Bantu for new collaboration

Australian singer-songwriter Mali-Koa Hood, known monoymously as Mali-Koa, has reportedly enlisted Bantu for a new collaboration.

The Zimbabwean record producer (born Tinashe Sibanda) is known for his works with Jason Derulo (“Tip Toe”), K. Michelle (“Make the Bed”), Fifth Harmony (“Them Girls Be Like”), Rita Ora (“Body on Me”), Sabina Ddumba (“Not Too Young”), Tove Styrke (“Say My Name”), Keshia Chante (“Lights Out”), Maroon 5 (“Whiskey”) and Zara Larsson (“Permission”).

His extensive resume boasts additional works with songwriters including Lindy Robbins, Meagan Cottone, JHart, Lisa Scinta, Tayla Parx, Iain James, Chelcee Grimes, Ali Tamposi, Nate Campany, Emily Warren, Stephenie Jones, Eskeerdo, Noonie Bao, Sasha Sloan, Teddy Geiger, Julia Michaels, Carmen Reece, Wayne Hector, Victoria Monet, Brittany Burton, and Jacob Kasher Hindlin.

Bantu’s debut mini-album “Africa for the Summer” – featuring guest appearances from Shungudzo Kuyimba, Elliphant, and Rosina “Soaky Siren” Russell – is now available via iTunes and all other digital streaming platforms.

Ruth-Anne scheduled to release new music in 2018

Irish singer/songwriter Ruth-Anne Cunningham, known mononymously as RuthAnne, is planning to release new music from her debut album in 2018.

Alongside record producers Billy Steinberg and Josh Alexander, RuthAnne has co-penned songs for Jojo (“Too Little, Too Late”), Katharine McPhee (“Over It”) and Leona Lewis (“Perfection”).

Her extensive resume boasts additional songwriting works with Niall Horan (“Slow Hands”), Martin Garrix (“In the Name of Love”), Britney Spears (“Work Bitch”), Pixie Lott (“Broken Arrow”), Third Story (“G Train”), Jasmine V (“Jealous”), Zac Samuel (“Never Letting Go”), Nadine Coyle (“Running”), One Direction (“No Control”) and Alex & Sierra (“Little Do You Know”).

JONES enlists George Reid of AlunaGeorge for new collaboration

British singer/songwriter Cherie Jones-Mattis, known mononymously as JONES, has enlisted George Reid of AlunaGeorge for a new collaboration.

Reid’s songwriting and production resume boasts works with Taya (“Sweet Waste of Time”), Raleigh Ritchie (“A Moor”), Charlotte OC (“Meet Again”), Molly Rainford (“Bad Friend”) and NAO (“Talking Drum”).

Among the fellow songwriters Reid has worked with are Cathy Dennis, Karen Poole, Fiona Bevan, Dee Adams, Cleo Tighe, Bryn Christopher, Chiara Hunter, Andrew “BullySongs” Bullimore, Caroline Ailin, and Glen Roberts.

Meanwhile, JONES is expected to release her upcoming sophomore album and follow-up to 2016’s “New Skin” some time next year via 37 Adventures.

Canadian actress, singer, and songwriter Lennon Stella has teamed with Caitlyn Scarlett, Fiona Bevan, and MNEK for a new collaboration.

Having signed a publishing deal with BMG earlier this year, Scarlett’s current promotional single “Happy When” – which was co-written with Fred Cox and Jonny Lattimer – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Meanwhile, Bevan recently co-wrote “Lonely with You” for Australian duo No Frills Twins alongside Richard “Biffco” Stannard. Her other credits include Alexandru’s “Sellotape,” Grace Davies’ “Too Young,” Mika’s “It’s My House,” Lights’ “Skydiving,” and Tom Walker’s “Heartland.”

Australian singer/songwriter Mali-Koa Hood, known mononymously as Mali-Koa, has liberated her debut promotional single online.

“Honest” – which was written by Mali-Koa alongside Philip Plested and Joe Garrett – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As a songwriter, Mali-Koa has co-penned “The Beautiful & Damned” for G-Eazy alongside Zoe Nash, Georgia Sinclair, and Madison Wolf. The track appears on the American rapper’s fourth studio album of the same name, which is out now via Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records.

She also provided guest vocals on H Block Ink’s “Numbers Game,” which was co-written with Farrah “Nefera” Guenena, Amish “ADP” Patel, and Linus Nordstrom of Swedish production duo Goldfingers.
