KStewart reunites with MNEK for new single “High”

KStewart has announced the details for her new single.

The British singer/songwriter (born Kate Stewart) christened “High” – featuring Jevon – as her next promotional cut and will release it on December 6 via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

The track was co-written by regular collaborator Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike, who previously teamed up with KStewart on her 2016 single, “Be Without You.”

MNEK’s resume boasts additional works with Dua Lipa (“IDGAF”), Christina Aguilera (“Deserve”), Jojo (“Good Thing”), Little Mix (“Touch”), Mabel (“Okay”), Karen Harding (“Say Something”) and H.E.R. (“2”).

Besides working on her upcoming project, KStewart is also known for co-writing Tinashe’s “Fire and Flames” (2018), Maad’s “New Religion” (2018) and Craig David’s “Couldn’t Be Mine” (2016).

The Weeknd releases new single “Heartless”

Canadian singer, songwriter, and record producer Abel Tesfaye (known professionally as The Weeknd) has released his new single online.

“Heartless” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by The Weeknd alongside Andre “Dre Moon” Proctor (Teyana Taylor, Jennifer Lopez), Carlo “Illangelo” Montagnese (Alicia Keys, Majid Jordan) and Leland “Metro Boomin” Wayne (Tinashe, Dua Lipa).

As mentioned in various media outlets, The Weeknd’s upcoming, and currently untitled, fourth studio album – featuring next single “Blinding Lights” – is expected to arrive later this year via Republic Records.

The highly-anticipated project serves as the follow-up to 2016’s “Starboy,” which topped the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned four singles in the shape of “Starboy,” “I Feel It Coming,” “Party Monster” and “Reminder.”

Jorja Smith hits the studio with P2J for new collaboration

Jorja Smith has teamed up with Richard “P2J” Isong for a new collaboration.

The record producer and songwriter recently co-helmed “Addiction” for Doja Cat alongside regular collaborator Ari PenSmith. The track appears on the artist’s latest studio album, “Hot Pink,” out now via Kemosabe / RCA Records.

P2J’s resume boasts additional works with Beyonce (“Brown Skin Girl”), Chris Brown (“Covered in You”), Jaz Karis (“Summer Story”), Gracey (“Fingers Crossed”), Snoh Aalegra (“Situationship”), Miraa May (“Bad Behaviour”), Justine Skye (“Secrets”) and Skylar Stecker (“Sleep On”).

Meanwhile, Smith is currently working on her upcoming sophomore album under FAMM. The still-untitled project follows 2018’s “Lost & Found,” which debuted at number three on the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles “The One,” “Blue Lights,” “February 3rd,” and “On Your Own.”

Smith’s most recent single “Be Honest” – which was co-written by fellow recording artist Amira “Miraa May” Benameur and collectively produced by Oliver “Cadenza” Rodigan and Andron “IzyBeats” Cross – is now available via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

Kelly Rowland unleashes new single “Love You More At Christmas Time”

Kelly Rowland has unleashed her new single online.

“Love You More At Christmas Time” – which appears on the artist’s upcoming movie “Merry Liddle Christmas” –  is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Rowland alongside Angela Beyince (Beyonce, Destiny’s Child), Shane Stevens (Selena Gomez, Little Mix) and Nash Overstreet (Meghan Trainor, Britney Spears).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Rowland is currently working on her upcoming fifth album and follow-up to 2013’s “Talk a Good Game.”

The still-untitled project reportedly delivers contributions from Jeff Gitty, Nasri Atweh, Da Internz, Mick Schultz, J. Que, The Stereotypes, Bianca “Blush” Atterberry, Darhyl Camper, Prince Charlez, Ray BLK, Nana Rogues, Black Coffee, Raye, Mike Sabath, Sounwave, Eric Hudson, and The Rascals.

British singer/songwriter Mabel McVey, known mononymously as Mabel, has shared her first Christmas single online.

“Loneliest Time of Year” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Kamille “Kamille” Purcell (Sam Smith, Lianne La Havas), Nayla “Sillkey” Nyassa (Ray BLK, Jaz Karis), Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike (Kelis, Christina Aguilera) and Tre Jean-Marie (Ella Eyre, Paloma Faith).

Mabel’s debut studio album, “High Expectations,” was released in August this year via Polydor Records. The collection peaked to number three on the UK Albums Chart and spawned singles “Don’t Call Me Up” and “Mad Love.”

Little Mix deliver first Christmas single “One I’ve Been Missing”

British girl group Little Mix (composed of members Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards) have delivered their first Christmas single online.

“One I’ve Been Missing” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by group member Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Sinead Harnett alongside Rachel Furner (Becky Hill, Craig David), Tre Jean-Marie (Mabel, Ella Eyre) and Jez Ashurst (Ella Henderson, Louise Redknapp).

As mentioned in earlier posts, Little Mix are currently working on their upcoming album under RCA Records (UK) / Columbia Records (US).

The follow-up to 2018’s “LM5” reportedly boasts contributions from Supa Dups, Georgia Ku, Oak Felder, Tayla Parx, Sean Douglas, Boy Matthews, Nate Campany, Kamille, Chris Loco, and Goldfingers.

British singer/songwriter Tamera Foster, known mononymously as Tamera, has released her new single online.

“Don’t Phone” is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written and produced by Aston Rudi, whose other credits include Mahalia’s “Do Not Disturb,” Jordan Stephens’ “Thunder,” Hamzaa’s “Saving Grace,” Sophie Faith’s “Bad Blood,” Jaz Karis’ “Petty Lover,” Anais’ “Before Zero,” Elli Ingram’s “Table for Two,” and Ray BLK’s “5050.”

As mentioned in earlier posts, Tamera’s upcoming debut project – featuring the Parker Ighile-produced lead single “Romeo” – is expected to arrive later this year via Moonshyne Music Limited.

Brandy teases new single “Again Love”

Brandy has teased her new single online.

“Again Love” was written by the dearly departed LaShawn “Big Shiz” Daniels alongside Brandon Caddell, Greg Morgan and Jesse Francois.

Meanwhile, Brandy’s current promotional single “Freedom Rings” – which was co-written by Jeff Gitty alongside Ryan M. Tedder and Sebastian Kole – is now available via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

Her upcoming album reportedly boasts further contributions from Cory Rooney, Antonio Dixon, Stacy Barthe, Angel, Prince Charlez, J. Que, Kaydence, Delisha Thomas, Kristal Oliver, DJ Camper, and Harvey Mason Jr.

The follow-up to 2018’s “Joyride” boasts songwriting contributions from Lisa Scinta, Krystin “Rook Monroe” Watkins, Dimitri McDowell, Elliot Trent, Alec King, London Jae, Kudzai Kachingwe, Mayila Jones, Lorenzo Chatmon, Gabrielle “Goldie” Nowee, and Riley McDonough.
