Gallant premieres music video for new single “Sleep On It”

Gallant has premiered the music video for his new single online.

The visual clip for “Sleep On It” – featuring a guest appearance from R&B crooner Ginuwine – was posted to the American singer/songwriter’s YouTube channel on Thursday (August 29, 2019).

The track was written by Gallant alongside James “Boy Matthews” Norton (Sasha Keable, Little Mix), Jeffrey “Jeff Gitty” Gitelman (Amber Mark, Kirby Lauryen) and Ajay “Stint” Bhattacharyya (Sinead Harnett, Trey Songz).

As mentioned in various media outlets, Gallant’s upcoming sophomore album “Sweet Insomnia” – featuring additional songwriting contributions from Sarah Aarons, Ben Abaraham, and Trey Campbell – is scheduled to arrive on October 25 via Mind of a Genius Records / Warner Records.

Sean Paul delivers new single “When It Comes To You”

Sean Paul has delivered his new single online.

“When It Comes To You”  is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by Sean Paul alongside Sean Douglas (Bebe Rexha, Charlie Puth), Ian Kirkpatrick (Selena Gomez, Jason Derulo) and Dwayne “Supa Dups” Chin-Quee (Dua Lipa, Little Mix).

The Jamaican singer, songwriter and record producer’s upcoming seventh studio collection – featuring the Stefflon Don-assisted “Shot & Wine” – is expected to arrive later this year via Universal Music Group / Island Records.

Shakka releases new single “Too Bad Bad” (featuring Mr Eazi)

British singer/songwriter Shakka Malcolm Philip, known mononymously as Shakka, has released his new single online.

The Mr Eazi-featuring “Too Bad Bad” – which was produced by regular collaborators Yannick Rastogi and Zacharie Raymond of Banx & Ranx – is now available via Apple Music and all other digital streaming outlets.

Besides his upcoming project under Island Records UK, Shakka is also known for co-writing Ella Eyre’s “Mama,” Sean Paul’s “Shot & Wine,” Kamille’s “Emotional,” Rak-Su’s “Pyro Ting,” Tanya Lacey’s “Too Many Cooks,” Gorgon City’s “Go Deep,” and Banx & Ranx’s “Answerphone.”

RoRo releases new promotional single “Trouble”

Bajan singer/songwriter Rochelle Griffith, known mononymously as RoRo, has released her new promotional single online.

“Trouble”  is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was co-written by fellow recording artist Maverick Sabre (Becky Hill, Jorja Smith) and collectively produced by Ed Thomas (Mae Muller, Joy Crookes) and Bradford Ellis (Fleur East, Leona Lewis).

RoRo recently provided guest vocals on the track “Prophecies,” taken from UK producer Courage’s latest project under Beastly Recordings, “Get Some Courage, Volume 2.” Her upcoming debut project is expected to arrive later this year via Mahogany Recordings.

Kara Marni teams with Sons of Sonix for new collaboration

Kara Marni has teamed up with Sons of Sonix for a new collaboration.

The songwriting and production duo – composed of Moses Samuels and Michael “Mikey” Akinkunmi – are responsible for Jennifer Lopez’s “Medicine,” Miraa May’s “Nobody,” Tanika’s “Come Through,” Alexandra Burke’s “Without You,” and Trey Songz’s “What Are We Here For.”

Sons of Sonix’s most recent promotional single “Full Speed” – featuring Verse Simmonds – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Marni’s upcoming project and follow-up to 2018’s “Love Just Ain’t Enough” – featuring singles “Move,” “Lose My Love,” “Opposite” and “All Night” – is expected to arrive later this year via Access Records.

The still-untitled collection delivers additional alliances with The Invisible Men, Harloe, Culture x Tones, Autumn Rowe, Dayyon Alexander, Chiara Hunter, Jay Mooncie, RuthAnne, WavsDntDie, and Samantha Harper.

Kehlani teases new collaboration with Oak Felder, Pop Wansel

Kehlani has teased a new collaboration with Oak Felder and Pop Wansel.

“Second album coming and all i’m saying is rnb man… rnb. i said no snippets but fuck it this shit rockin @oakestra @popwansel,” the American singer/songwriter posted to Instagram on Tuesday (August 27, 2018).

Felder and Wansel previously teamed up with Kehlani on “Distraction,” “Not Used to It,” “Everything is Yours,” “Advice,” “Escape,” “In My Feelings,” “Hold Me By The Heart” and “Thank You,” taken from her debut album under Warner Music Group / Atlantic Records, 2017’s “SweetSexySavage.”

For her sophomore studio collection, Kehlani has also worked with Jermaine Dupri (Mariah Carey, Trey Songz), Bryan Michael Cox (Aaliyah, Toni Braxton), Nija Charles (Beyonce, Lauren Jauregui), Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds (Usher, Janet Jackson) and The Rascals (Ariana Grande, Justine Skye).

Kehlani also provided vocals on “Change,” taken from Arin Ray’s upcoming project under Interscope Records. The track – which was produced by Ray alongside Camden Bench and The Rascals – is now available via Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Justine Skye releases new “Bare With Me” EP

Justine Skye has released her new EP online.

“Bare With Me” – featuring six new songs including “Too Much,” “Secrets,” “Bulletproof,” “Fav” and “When You’re Ready” – is now available via Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

Lead single “Maybe” was produced by Andrew “Dre Skull” Hershey (Santigold, Mabel McVey) and written by Skye alongside Josh Werner and Fai Khadra.

Other EP contributors include fellow recording artists Dyo and Jaz Karis as well as producers/songwriters P2J (Mario, Sinead Harnett), Ari PenSmith (Snoh Aalegra, Chris Brown), James Fauntleroy (Rihanna, Justin Timberlake), Hit-Boy (Bebe Rexha, Craig David) and The Rascals (Kehlani, Arin Ray).

Bebe Rexha confirms details for new single “Not 20 Anymore”

Bebe Rexha has confirmed the details for her new single.

The American singer/songwriter christened “Not 20 Anymore” as her next promotional cut and will release it on August 30 via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

The track was written by Rexha alongside Michael Pollack (Alina Baraz, Dinah Jane), Oliver “German” Peterholf (Raye, Zara Larsson) and Stefan Johnson & Jordan Johnson of The Monsters & Strangerz (Ellie Goulding, Miley Cyrus).

Rexha’s upcoming sophomore album – featuring previous single “Last Hurrah” – is expected to arrive early next year via Warner Bros. Records.

Her debut studio collection, 2018’s “Expectations,” peaked to number thirteen on the US Billboard 200 Albums Chart and spawned singles “I’m a Mess,” “I Got You” and “Meant to Be.”

As a songwriter, Rexha has penned songs for Tinashe (“All Hands on Deck”), Nick Jonas (“Under You”), Iggy Azalea (“Team”), Selena Gomez (“Like a Champion”) and Eminem (“The Monster”).

British singer/songwriter Mahalia Burkmar, known mononymously as Mahalia, has delivered her new promotional single online.

“Square 1” – which was written by Mahalia alongside Nathaniel J. Warner, Aston Rudi, Dan Diggas, and Felix Joseph – is now available via iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon, Google Play, Tidal and all other digital streaming platforms.

As mentioned in earlier posts, Mahalia’s upcoming album “Love and Compromise” – featuring previous singles “Simmer,” “Do Not Disturb” and “I Wish I Missed My Ex” – on September 6 via Atlantic Records UK.
