Erika Nuri, Midi Mafia grace new album by Nicole Scherzinger

Nicole Scherzinger has enlisted the songwriting and production services of Erika Nuri and Midi Mafia for her upcoming sophomore album, which is due later this year via Universal Music Group / Interscope Records.

Erika Nuri is responsible for co-writing tracks such as “Heartbreak on Hold” by Alexandra Burke [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], “Wings” by Little Mix [Sony Music Entertainment / Columbia Records] and “I Like It” by JLS [Sony Music Entertainment / Epic Records].

Meanwhile, recent production credits by Midi Mafia – which compromises of members Kevin “Dirty Swift” Risto & Waynne “Bruce Waynne” Nugent – include “Swim Good” by Frank Ocean [Universal Music Group / Def Jam Records], “Pictures” by Conor Maynard [EMI Music Group / Parlophone Records] and “I’m a Man” by Cee Lo Green [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records].

As previously reported, the new collection by Nicole Scherzinger serves as the follow-up to 2011’s “Killer Love.” That release debuted at number eight on the UK Albums Chart. It also delivered five hit singles in the shape of “Poison,” “Don’t Hold Your Breath,” “Right There,” “Wet” and “Try With Me.”

Misha B teams up with Midia Mafia on debut album

British singer/songwriter Misha B has snagged the production services of Midi Mafia for her upcoming debut album, scheduled for release in March 2013 via Sony Music Entertainment / Relentless Records.

The American music production duo – consisting of members Kevin “Dirty Swift” Risto and Bruce Waynne (born Waynne Nugent) – are responsible for tracks “I’m a Man” by Cee Lo Green [Sony Music Entertainment / RCA Records], “Pictures” by Conor Maynard [EMI Music Group / Parlophone Records] and “Swim Good” by Frank Ocean [Universal Music Group / Def Jam Records].

As previously reported, the still-untitled project by Misha B is confirmed to boast further alliances with TMS: Peter Kelleher, Tom Barnes, Ben Kohn (Olly Murs, Professor Green), Uzoechi “MNEK” Emenike (Amelia Lily, Charli XCX), Mich “Cutfather” Hansen (Pixie Lott, Kylie Minogue), Mr. Hudson (Cover Drive, Kanye West), Ayak Thiik (Tinchy Stryder, Kelly Rowland), Michael “Mike Del Rio” Gonzalez (Christina Aguilera, Skylar Grey), Fraser T.
